Getting to & from the cruise terminal
By Taxi
From the airport to the port: There is a taxi desk located within the airport terminal. Taxis are permitted entry to Dock Gates 4, 8 and 10 on cruise days. Pre-booking is recommended to speed your journey through at busy times.
From the port to the airport: There is a taxi rank for the airport located outside each cruise terminal. Taxis may be very busy while the ships are disembarking so pre-booking is thoroughly recommended.
By Train
Operator: South Western Railway & CrossCountry Trains
From the airport to the port: Southampton Airport has one of the closest train-to-plane connections in Europe, with Southampton Airport (Parkway) railway station just 99 steps from the terminal. Trains run up to every 15 minutes from Platform 2 (conveniently located on the airport side of the railway station) to Southampton Central station, from where you can get a taxi to your cruise terminal.
From the port to the airport: Once disembarked from your cruise, you'll need to get a taxi to Southampton Central Station, where you can catch a train to Southampton Airport (Parkway). There is a taxi rank located outside each cruise terminal. Trains run up to every 15 minutes.
By Bus

From the airport to the port: Catch the U1 bus directly outside the airport terminal for Dock Gate 4. Please note: For security purposes, all passengers must alight at the Dock Gate 4 bus stop in Platform Road and walk the remaining distance to your cruise terminal.
From the port to the airport: Catch the U1 bus from Dock Gate 4 bus stop in Platform Road to the airport terminal.
