Who do I speak to about press enquiries?
During office hours please telephone 023 8062 7141 or email soumediacentre@southamptonairport.com. Please note this is not a customer service line so we are unable to assist with non-media/press enquiries. For anything else please call our main line on 0844 481 7777.
For urgent out-of-hours media enquiries please phone 023 8062 7111 and ask for your enquiry to be passed to the Airport Duty Manager.
Filming and photography requests
Who do I speak to regarding filming and photography requests?
If you would like to arrange filming or photography at Southampton Airport then you must contact the media team at least 14 days in advance. Any media activity on site must be escorted by a member of the media team and resources for such activities are very limited, thus any escorting must be planned as far in advance as possible.
If you would like to film or take photos at Southampton Airport, please email your request to our media inbox. The media team will come back to you within five days. There will be a charge for all commercial filming and photography, excluding accredited news agencies. You must have public liability insurance of at least £5,000,000 to film or take photos at Southampton Airport.
Each request will be considered on a case by case basis and whilst we will try our very best to accommodate where we can, there will be times where we will not allow filming or photography. We take many different things into consideration when we receive a request and ultimately we will always consider how filming may affect our passengers, staff and airlines when making a decision.
Unfortunately, due to the volume of enquiries, we are unable to accommodate student film-makers.

- Company that the request is on behalf of
- Amount of crew that will be attending on the day
- Will you need a room/area for all the crew attending on the day?
- Purpose of filming
- Why you want to film at Southampton Airport specifically?
- Where or what will the footage/photos be used for?
- When will it be used?
- Date and time you wish to film
- Area that you would like to use at the airport
- Please attach your public liability insurance certificate
